Love in the English countryside

This September, my beautiful sister got married. But, she didn’t just have A wedding. Her fiance is English you see, so what do you do when most of your side of the family is here in Oz and most of his side of the family are half way across the world in the UK? Host two weddings and celebrate twice of course!

The first was held at Bowral’s gorgeous Centennial Vineyards and the second, nestled among the rolling English countryside at Mitton Hall, just south of the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales National Park.

As they didn’t have a wedding photographer organised for the English wedding, I immediately put my hand up to document the day where I could (obviously putting my Bridesmaid duties first!) Our brother who is also a photographer shot a few himself and my husband even offered a hand with the photography when I was busy walking my sister down the aisle. It was a true honour to be there by her side for the day as her right hand girl, and the memories from this trip will stay with me forever.

Here is a collection of some of my images from their special day, mixed in with some of my travel images from this once in a lifetime trip.
